Aileen and David

When Aileen and David came into the studio to design their rings, they were immediately captivated by this stunning hexagon-shaped blue rosecut sapphire. The stone's unique geometry and rich color became the centerpiece of their custom wedding set. We set the sapphire in 14k yellow gold on a satin band. The wedding band is a matching 14k yellow gold, but with a diagonal linear hammering that adds a bit of movement and texture to the piece.

David chose a monochromatic mixed metal band in sterling silver and palladium. He opted to keep a satin finish, creating a sleek, modern look that balances the boldness of Aileen's stone.
